1.) Canadian Chamber reacts to business tax proposal   On Sunday, March 28th at its Canada at 150 conference, the Liberal Party of Canada decided to advocate cancelling previously-announced business tax reductions.  According to the Liberal Party, this will be a $5-6 billion impact on business, which will kill jobs and discourage investment and innovation at a time when Canadian businesses face dramatically growing competition.  The Canadian Chamber sent a letter on behalf of our membership yesterday to Mr. Ignatieff expressing our deep concern about the planned Liberal corporate tax freeze.
