The Alliston & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a luncheon event featuring the Honourable Bob Chiarelli, Ontario's Minister of Infrastructure on January 19^th at the Nottawasaga Inn from 11:45am to 1:30pm. The Minister will unveil long awaited changes to the Proposed Amendment 1 to the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe as it relates to Simcoe County. This will outline how the Province will help address the unique challenges of managing growth and protecting the environment in the Simcoe Area.

On Nov 26 from 2-5pm The Alliston Business Improvement Association (ABIA) and Alliston & District Chamber of Commerce (ADCC) invite you to attend the 2nd year of this FREE family fun event. Mill Street in Alliston will be closed to vehicular traffic to be transformed into a pedestrian friendly zone. Here families may participate in events such as cookie decorating, face painting and Christmas card making sponsored by the South Simcoe Arts Council. Base Borden will also be onsite with surprises that you will not want to miss! Santa Claus will meet and greet children on the beautifully decorated front porch of Bern’s Flowers. This event precedes the ABIA's Light up Celebrations from 5-6pm at Mill St.  The 5th Annual Alliston Rotary Night-Lit Parade begins at 6pm.

New Tecumseth Recreation Centre located at 7300 Industrial Parkway in Alliston.

Admission is free, however donation to Stevenson Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

The 38th Annual Alliston Potato Festival is August 5, 6, 7, 2011

As always there is the Friday night parade run by The Rotary Club of Alliston attracting 20-30,000 viewers. 

This year the Alliston & District Chamber of Commerce held our Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday June 1, 2011 at the Nottawasaga Inn (Nottawasaga Course) located at 6015 Highway 89, Alliston.  We had a good turnout and the weather was great.
