Provide the Chamber with information that would aide in bringing members to your event for
Chamber emails (like a teaser), including most updated logo.
Advertise the event in you own business circles i.e. suppliers, customers; non-chamber
members are welcome to our events (this allows them to find out about the Chamber)
Confirm attendance of host’s guests and provide name tags, confirm with chamber the total
number of guests. (if there is limited space, set a limit of number of guests)
Provide hors d’oeuvres and beverages – reach out to the co-host re: splitting & costing
Take care to provide an elevated food experience.
Provide either a door prize for a draw or a small giveaway to each attendee
Provide promotional/marketing items of business i.e. business cards, brochures
Prepare a 5-15 minute introduction/presentation about your business
Venue can be arranged through the chamber or the host’s can choose a different venue if it will enhance their presentation.
Chamber Duties
Promote event to membership through email, website, and facebook.
Provide attendance numbers to host
Bring Chamber marketing materials
Help to facilitate evening
Sell 50/50 tickets for charity (My Sister’s Place Alliston)
Collect business cards for draw prize, confirm attendance & provide name tags for chamber guests.
Distribute guest contact information for networking opportunities via email after event.
